Program
One Mob Youth Mentoring was established in 2015 to meet the needs of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who were placed in out-of-home care.
We are committed to ensuring our young people have a safe space; to connect, be heard and know they belong. Engaging with culturally diverse experiences and mentoring to develop life skills and emotional support.
We pride ourselves on bringing people together and ensuring everyone feels welcome and ‘at home’.
One Mob Youth Mentoring is continually focused on strengthening our youths future, giving them the opportunity to create lifelong connections, resilience and self confidence.
As Aboriginal people, we know just how important it is to create a connection to one’s identity and country – we embrace it, knowing that together they form the foundations of belonging. While we are all on our own personal journey, we sometimes need support to face the hurdles and challenges that life throws at us.

Youth Support Work
Youth work support provides one on one support to meet each young persons individual needs, with a strong connection to culture.

Cultural Connection
Connecting our young people back to culture through stories, dance, traditional tool making and yarning circle, individually and in groups.

Young Men's Program
Our Young Men's Program provides the youth with the opportunity to be surrounded by strong positive influences, forming life skills.

Pre and Post Release Program
Our Pre & Post Release Program supports our young Indigenous Men during a time when they are often left without care and guidance.

Respite and Emergency Accommodation
We provide respite support and emergency accommodation for our young ones, Always ensuring our service users have a safe and comfortable place to stay while also being provided culture orientated support.
